Ryokan with a private bath for exclusive use

A private bath lets your party use the hot spring without sharing it with other guests. At Japanese inns this usually means a small bath taken for a set period. How you get one differs sharply between properties: some take reservations in advance, some only at check-in, and a few work first-come, with a lamp at the door to show the bath is free. At a few inns the bath stands in a sister building a short walk away. These rules are stated only in Japanese more often than not, so we note them on each listing.
