Hosting and server logs
Like effectively all websites, requests to this site pass through our hosting provider's infrastructure, which may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and operational purposes. This is standard web-server behaviour rather than something specific to this site, and we do not access these logs to identify individual visitors.
Links to booking partners
This site links out to Booking.com, Agoda andRakuten Travel so you can check rates and book. Once you follow one of those links, you're on their site, subject to their own privacy policies and cookies — we don't control what they collect. We'd encourage you to read their privacy policies if you want the detail.
Hotel photos are loaded from Rakuten Travel
Photos on stay pages are not hosted on this site — they are loaded directly from Rakuten Travel's servers (this is a hotlink, done under Rakuten's terms of use for their image data). In practice, that means whenever a page with photos loads in your browser, your browser makes a direct request to Rakuten Travel's servers to fetch the image, in the same way it would request an image from any other site — even if you never click an affiliate link. We are not able to control what Rakuten Travel does with that request.
Contact form
This site does not have a contact form. The contact page only shows how to reach us; nothing is collected unless you choose to email us directly, in which case ordinary email applies (we can see your address and whatever you write).
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
